A true story of Loreta Gedvilaitė, a young firecracker who finds herself involved in a  passionate love affair with Mongolas, the charismatic “businessman” who would rise to become one of the central figures in Soviet Lithuania’s organized crime.

  • Tomas received his MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, CA. His debut feature film, MOTHERLAND, premiered at the 2019 Busan International Film Festival and wonand won the Best Baltic Feature at Tallinn’s Black Nights Film Festival as well as ArteKino’s European Audience Award.

    His shorts have played many festivals, including SXSW and the Berlinale.

    Tomas has worked as an editor under directors such as Terrence Malick and Kelly Reichardt. edited Macon Blair's drama “I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore” (Grand Jury Prize of the Sundance in 2017).
